Product LaunchClearlite brings Premium Shower Features to EVERY Kiwi Home with the NEW RAYA Range
The next generation of Clearlite showers brings contemporary design and higher-spec features within reach of more New Zealand homes.
Clearlite Bathrooms is officially launching RAYA, a new generation of shower bringing features traditionally associated with more premium shower designs into an accessible everyday shower solution for New Zealand homeowners, renovators and builders.
Evolving from Clearlite’s long-standing Millennium shower range, RAYA combines a clean, minimal-framed aesthetic with 8mm frameless Grade A safety glass doors, soft-close functionality, easy-clean treated glass and contemporary hardware finishes — delivering more as standard while continuing the value that helped make Millennium a trusted choice for New Zealand homes.
For many years, Millennium has been one of Clearlite’s most recognised shower designs. RAYA builds on that foundation, evolving the range to reflect the cleaner lines, contemporary finishes and practical functionality increasingly sought in bathrooms today.
Features & Design
Contemporary design, everyday functionality
Standing two metres high, RAYA’s minimal-framed design and 8mm frameless glass door create a lighter, more open feel in the bathroom. The Grade A safety glass complies with AS/NZS 2208 and is treated to make ongoing cleaning and maintenance easier.
Soft-close hinges with adjustable bias and closing speed provide smooth, controlled door movement without the need for magnets, while removable door seals and an easy-clean waste add practical functionality for everyday use.
RAYA is available in Chrome, Brushed Nickel and Gunmetal finishes, allowing the shower hardware to coordinate with the tapware and finishes increasingly being used across contemporary New Zealand bathrooms.
A choice of configurations, including FlexiWall, tile wall, side moulded and selected corner moulded options, provides flexibility across different bathroom layouts, with RAYA able to be paired with a Clearlite shower tray or specified for a tiled floor.
Engineering
Protection built into the detail
For installations using a Clearlite tray, RAYA can be paired with Clearlite’s unique Sure Seal™ shower tray, designed to provide an additional level of protection where water management matters most.
The New Zealand-designed Sure Seal™ tray features a 20mm full-perimeter upstand, with the shower liner and door system positioned within the tray to help direct water back where it belongs. The design helps minimise the risk of leaks and potential water damage, providing added confidence for homeowners and builders.
Evolution
Evolving a trusted Clearlite favourite
“When we developed RAYA, the goal wasn’t simply to replace an existing shower. It was to evolve one of Clearlite’s most recognised products and create a shower that reflects how New Zealanders are designing and living in their homes today. We wanted to bring together the contemporary look homeowners are seeking with practical features that make a difference every day, while continuing to deliver the quality, reliability and value people have come to expect from Clearlite.”
— Tony de Ruiter, Managing Director of OPR Limited, The Home of Clearlite BathroomsThe launch will see RAYA introduced nationwide, supported by activity across consumer, digital, media and merchant channels.
With its combination of minimal-framed design, 8mm frameless glass door, soft-close functionality, contemporary finishes and proven Clearlite engineering, RAYA brings features traditionally associated with more premium shower designs into an accessible everyday shower solution.
RAYA is available now through Clearlite’s nationwide network of plumbing merchants and bathroom retailers.
